Born in Guilin, China, and raised in San Francisco from the age of 15, YC Dong pursued their passion for visual arts at San Jose State University, where they studied graphic design and photography. After college, they moved to New York and began their career as a production manager. Over the years, YC has gained extensive experience assisting with lighting for notable companies and brands like Macy's, Tommy Hilfiger, Helmut Lang, Theory, Aritzia, Timberland, Glossier, and prestigious publications such as Elle, Marie Claire, W, and ID, among many others. YC's work is characterized by its colorful, edgy, and strong aesthetic, capturing the dynamic spirit of contemporary fashion and culture.
